How do I become a verified Organisation and what is the purpose? #
On PlaySport you have the ability of becoming a verified Organisation. You will know that an Organisation is verified if they have an aqua blue tick next to their logo.
Below are the requirements to become a verified Organisation on PlaySport:
- Business Type (Corporation, Not For Profit, Association etc)
- Business Number (ABN, ACN) if applicable to your Business Type. Not all ‘Not for profit’ organisations will have a business number so this field can be left blank if necessary
- Company Insurance Document and Expiration Date
PlaySport also analyses the quality of the PlaySport listing and the extent of detail provided about their Organisation to support legitimacy.
Becoming a verified Organisation is a credibility measure which gives Players the ability to register for an activity based on the validity of the Organisation’s listing on PlaySport. PlaySport has over 50,000 organisations and Player safety is crucial to our platform. The blue verification tick helps Players to identify the trusted Organisations on our platform.
By uploading your verification information on PlaySport we are able to highlight to Players which Organisations are listing up-to-date information, offer current insurance to support Players, and are credible companies that are still operating.

How long after submitting my Verification documents should I expect a response? #
PlaySport will endeavour to review your documents and respond to you with confirmation of verification, or a request for additional information within 24-48 hours. Please be aware that there may be delays from time-to-time if we are unusually busy.
