Welcome to Yoga & Zenga - Fun Fabulous Fitness, a yoga studio in Spalding founded by Karen. Karen's main goal is to create classes that are not only fun but also beneficial for your physical and mental well-being. She believes that fitness is not just about appearance, but also about how you feel on the inside.
At Yoga & Zenga, classes are conducted in Karen's personal style, with lots of banter and laughter to distract you from the amount of work you're actually doing. The studio is designed to be non-intimidating, without mirrors, to encourage people of all ages, sizes, genders, and abilities to join.
Karen's fitness journey began 27 years ago when she became a certified aerobics instructor. Over the years, she added various classes to her repertoire, including kick aerobics, Zenga, and yoga. After becoming a mother and leaving her job at a bank, Karen turned her passion for fitness and yoga into a full-time career.
Yoga & Zenga offers a variety of classes to cater to different needs and preferences. Hatha Yoga Flow combines the physical and mental benefits of yoga to help you feel calm and balanced while gaining flexibility. Gentle Yoga is a slower-paced class that focuses on winding down after a busy day, allowing you to relax into the poses for a deeper stretch. LBT Blast is a fun workout that includes cardio, squats, and lunges to get your heart pumping and muscles toned.
Zenga is a blend of yoga and Pilates that incorporates a mini stability ball to maximise positioning and challenge. Baby Yoga is a class designed for both mommy and baby, including action songs, relaxation, and postnatal health. Giggle & Wiggle is a cardio-based workout for moms with their children, ensuring that both fitness and fun are incorporated. Step & Tone is a cardio-based workout using a step platform, followed by abdominal and strength exercises.
Fitness Yoga combines traditional yoga with body conditioning for a complete workout.
