Their sessions are perfect for beginners, with a relaxed approach that helps everyone reach their potential. Ian and his team of seasoned instructors are all about hard work and commitment to personal growth.
Safety comes first at Tang Soo Do Scotland. Ian ensures that all instructors have undergone PVG checks and enhanced disclosure certification. Plus, they’re trained in First Aid, ready to handle any medical emergencies during training.
Inclusivity is key for Ian. People of all ages and backgrounds are welcomed with open arms, and families are especially encouraged to join. Training together helps build meaningful connections, making the dojo a great place to make new friends.
Tang Soo Do, a traditional Korean martial art, challenges you to learn self-defence, gain confidence, and stay fit. The mix of sport and ancient discipline is both fun and enriching.
Classes are held in Edinburgh and Glasgow. No matter your experience level, you’re welcome to join. Just drop by in loose-fitting clothing and an instructor will help you get started. Ian's team is there to make you feel right at home.
Fancy giving it a go? The first two classes are free! After that, it's £6.50 per class for adults and £5.50 for under 18s.
In Edinburgh, classes are at Gracemount Leisure Centre on Wednesdays from 6:15pm to 7:15pm, and Saturdays from 11am to 12 noon. In Glasgow, they’re at St Columbkille's Catholic Church on Tuesdays from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, and Partick Burgh Hall on Thursdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
