Oakmeadians Rugby Football Club, nestled in Meyrick Park, Bournemouth, has a rich history and a deep-rooted commitment to community values. The club recently clinched the NatWest RugbyForce 'Pride of the South West' title for the second year running, showcasing their dedication to rugby.
Oakmeadians RFC proudly holds the Dorset & Wilts Core Values Certification, underscoring their commitment to rugby's core values on and off the pitch. As an RFU Accredited Rugby Club, they offer top-notch training and development for players of all ages and abilities.
Training schedules are thoughtfully arranged throughout the week for various age groups and genders. Senior Men and Women train every Tuesday at 6:45 pm, and the Under 18s Girls' team at 6 pm. Wednesdays are busy with sessions for Under 13s, Under 14s, Under 15s, and Under 16s at 6 pm, followed by Girls' Under 11s – U12s and Under 14s & U16s at 7 pm. On Thursdays, Senior Men and Colts train at 6 pm, followed by Touch Rugby at 7 pm. Little Bears, the youngest enthusiasts, have their session on Sundays at 10 am, with others from Under 6s to Under 16s training throughout the morning. Girls' Under 11s, U12s, and U14s train at 12 pm, alongside Girls' Under 16s & U18s.
Oakmeadians RFC actively supports community engagement through the BH Coastal Lottery. By purchasing tickets, with 50% supporting the club, individuals can help in the club’s growth and development. Sponsors also play a crucial role in helping Oakmeadians RFC achieve its goals and continuing their success.
