Experience a thrilling night dive on the Ex-HMAS Brisbane with Sunreef Mooloolaba, the premier Freediving club in Sunshine Coast. Check-in for this exciting event begins at the designated time stated on your confirmation email or text. When you arrive, our friendly staff will be waiting to greet you at the check-in desk and verify your diver certification card. If you have brought your own gear, our crew will be more than happy to assist you in setting it up at the dock. For those who need to hire gear, rest assured that everything will be prepared in advance, so you can focus on the adventure ahead.
Before the boat sets sail from the serene waters of the Mooloolaba River system, you will receive a comprehensive briefing on the Ex-HMAS Brisbane site. This ensures that you are well-informed and prepared for what awaits you underwater. The journey to the dive site takes approximately 15 minutes, and upon arrival, our dedicated crew will be there to help you get ready for your dive. Your dive is planned to last for a maximum of 50 minutes or until your air supply reaches 50 bar, whichever comes first.
Once you have experienced the awe-inspiring beauty of the Ex-HMAS Brisbane, we will return to the shop where you have the option to unload and wash your gear, if desired. However, please bear in mind that the confirmation of the trip is subject to sea conditions and weather. We will keep you informed of any changes to the trip's status and departure time through email and text message.
If you haven't dived in the last 2 years, we kindly ask that you complete either a Scuba Review/Refresher Course or a Reactivate Course. Our highly skilled crew will ensure your utmost comfort and safety throughout the dive, including assistance for seasickness or difficulties equalising. However, please understand that rebookings or refunds cannot be issued for these reasons. To mitigate any seasickness concerns, we recommend taking seasickness tablets beforehand.
For this night diving event, snorkel, computer, SMB, a whistle, and two white light torches are mandatory. Should you choose to participate in the Fluoro/UV Dive, you will need two additional white light torches along with your UV torch. If you do not possess all the required equipment, Sunreef Mooloolaba offers options to purchase or rent them from our shop.
Before joining us for this exhilarating dive, please ensure that you have completed the Sunreef Diver Statement. Additionally, if you answer 'YES' to any of the medical questions, we strongly advise consulting a doctor prior to diving.
Parking at The Wharf complex is available for 4 hours, although it may be necessary to find alternative parking if your tour exceeds this time. We want to ensure that your experience with Sunreef Mooloolaba is as convenient and hassle-free as possible.
