London Japanese Junior FC (LJJ Frontiers), the largest Japanese football club in London, has been around since 1994. They’re all about developing youth through football, playing in both local leagues and international matches, thanks to London's global vibe.
Run by Marco Babic, a former Croatian national team player, with Ayame Endo as head coach, LJJFC attracts talents and guest coaches like Lisha Magalhes from time to time. Their home ground is at Queens Drive, London.
LJJFC has Sunday training sessions from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm for primary school kids to hone their basic skills and team tactics. Older kids get in on the action from October to March, taking part in local leagues with around 20 matches a year, getting a taste of real competitive English football.
Beyond football, LJJFC teaches kids about greetings and manners. They’ve had pros like Kawaguchi, Kitazawa, Ohno, and Chikaga drop in for special coaching sessions. They also organise fun events like parent-child football matches, Christmas parties, and more.
The club’s facilities include a huge 8,000 square metre field, with courts for various age groups and skill levels, plus floodlights for winter training. There’s even an indoor facility for bad weather and video sessions.
Safety’s a priority, with an AED on-site.
