James Chapman is a highly trained and experienced Sports Massage Therapist, Massage Therapist, and Yoga Instructor based in London. With a passion for holistic health and wellness, James offers a unique blend of yoga therapy and advanced myofascial and sports massage techniques to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

James's journey into the world of yoga and massage therapy began after years of struggling with a chronic back condition while working in the demanding field of IT analysis. Dissatisfied with traditional medical approaches that only offered pain management, he sought alternative methods to alleviate his discomfort. Through the combination of yoga, remedial gym exercises, swimming, and chi gong, James experienced a profound transformation in his own body. He became pain-free and regained optimal health without relying on medication.

Inspired by his own healing journey, James decided to pursue training as a yoga teacher and further studies in massage therapy and psychotherapy. He recognised the potential to help others similarly and has been working full-time as a yoga teacher and massage therapist since 2004.

As a member of The Association for Soft Tissue Therapists, The Acupuncture Society, and The International Association of Yoga Therapists, James brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practise. He is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in his field and regularly participates in continuing education courses and workshops.

In addition, James is a certified Mental Health First Aider, empowering him to support clients who may be facing mental health challenges. Especially in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, he recognises the importance of addressing mental health concerns and offers Mental Health First Aid courses to help individuals become more knowledgeable and proactive in this area.

Located in London, James primarily operates out of triyoga Camden and Yogacampus.
