The club is led by Chief Instructor Nicholas Richard Stewart, a highly skilled 4th Dan black belt. Nick has been involved in karate since 1985 and has an impressive background in the martial arts. He was one of the founding members of the Imperial College KDS karate club and has trained and taught in various places in the UK and abroad. With his extensive experience and passion for karate, Nick has been the senior instructor at the London club since 2004.

London Karate-do Shotokai also has a team of dedicated instructors who bring their own unique experience and expertise to the club. Simon Anderson, Phil Avis, Will Black, Vicky Simms, Owen Williams, and Peter Wraight are all highly trained black belts who have been practising karate for many years. Their commitment to their own training and their dedication to teaching make them invaluable assets to the club.

Club Mentor Steve Hearson has been practising martial arts for over 40 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to London Karate-do Shotokai. Steve's background includes training in Judo and Karate-Do Shotokai under the guidance of respected instructors. He is currently a senior instructor at the University of Herts KDS club and has been sharing his expertise with the London club for several years.
