Inverclyde Cho's Tae Kwon-Do, located in Scotland, is a highly reputable martial arts school that specialises in teaching the ancient Korean martial art of Tae Kwon-Do. Under the guidance of Head Instructor and Co-Owner, Master Charles Boyle, a 7th degree black belt, and Mrs. Gillian Boyle, a 5th degree black belt, the school has been providing training to adults, teens, and children for over 70 combined years of experience.
Master Boyle, a professionally qualified martial artist with over 40 years of expertise, ensures that all club members receive the highest level of instruction and guidance. The school follows the strict protocols and standards established by the world-renowned martial artist, Grandmaster Hee IL Cho, a 9th Dan. Additionally, all club members are licenced members of A. I.
M. A. (Action International Martial Arts Association) and the British Tae Kwon-Do Council, assuring students of the school's dedication to professionalism and authenticity.
The school recently held its annual black belt grading, where seven dedicated students successfully achieved their black belts. These students had undergone extensive training since January, including rigorous pre-grading sessions, to prepare themselves for the demanding 3 hour grading. The grading encompassed various aspects of Tae Kwon-Do, such as patterns, basic and advanced line work, sparring, pad work, self-defence, and more. Students were also required to demonstrate their knowledge of Tae Kwon-Do and submit a 500-word essay for evaluation by Grandmaster Hee Il Cho.
