Master Boyle's School of Cho's Taekwondo

Master Boyle's School of Cho's Taekwondo, located in Greenock, is a reputable and well-established martial arts school dedicated to teaching the ancient Korean martial art of Tae Kwon-Do. The school is led by Head Instructor and Co-owner, Master Charles Boyle, a 7th degree black belt with over 40 years of experience, and Mrs. Gillian Boyle, a 5th degree black belt. Together, they have a combined effort of 70+ years of experience in training adults, teens, and children in the art of Tae Kwon-Do.

The school operates under the guidance and supervision of world-renowned martial artist, Grandmaster Hee IL Cho, who holds a 9th Dan black belt. All club members are licenced members of the Action International Martial Arts Association (AIMAA) and the British Tae Kwon-Do Council.

At Master Boyle's School of Cho's Taekwondo, their primary goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for students to develop their skills and abilities in Tae Kwon-Do. The school offers classes for individuals aged 6 years and above, with separate junior and senior classes held on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

During the first visit to the school, new students are eligible for a week's free trial under the guidance and tutelage of Master Boyle, Mrs. Boyle, and the experienced instructors. With over 70+ years of accumulated experience, the instructors ensure that each student receives excellent training tailored to their individual needs and goals.

The school prioritises the well-rounded development of its students, focusing not only on physical training but also on mental discipline, respect, and self-confidence. Through rigorous training sessions, students engage in various aspects of Tae Kwon-Do, including patterns, basic and advanced line work, sparring, pad work, 2vs1 sparring, and self-defence techniques.

Spaces are limited, and some classes may be already full, so it is advisable to get in touch to secure a spot. Alternatively, individuals can drop in on Tuesday or Thursday nights between 6pm to 7pm for the junior class or 7pm to 8pm for the senior classes.
