The driving force behind Better Life Yoga is the instructor's personal journey of self-discovery and transformation through the practise of yoga. Realising the profound impact it had on her own life, she felt compelled to share the benefits of yoga with others. With a deep understanding of the transformative power of yoga, she is dedicated to helping individuals cultivate a better life through the practise of yoga and meditation.
All the classes at Better Life Yoga are designed to be accessible to beginners and individuals in good general health. The instructor teaches a unique combination of slow vinyasa flow and hatha yoga, drawing inspiration from various yoga styles and teachings she has studied with esteemed teachers. Each class begins with pranayama (breath work) to cultivate mindfulness and focus, followed by a series of standing and seated poses. Every class is different, with no set sequence, ensuring a fresh and diverse experience every session.
Modifications are provided for individuals who may require them, and the use of props such as blocks and straps is encouraged to support and enhance the practise. Each class concludes with a short relaxation session, allowing students to leave feeling more grounded, peaceful, and rejuvenated than when they arrived.
As a Yoga Alliance registered teacher, the instructor has undergone extensive training with renowned teachers in the field. The commitment to personal growth and self-improvement is unwavering, with a continuous pursuit of furthering her own practise and teaching skills through workshops, both online and in person.
Better Life Yoga also offers meditation and mindfulness classes, recognising the immense benefits that a regular meditation practise brings to overall well-being. She has also delved into the study of mantra and meditation, further expanding her expertise to provide a comprehensive and enriching meditation experience.
