“Baby Yoga and Baby Massage” is a welcoming and nurturing yoga studio located in Bishop's Stortford, New Zealand. Penny Constantinou, the founder and instructor, is passionate about promoting health and wellness through massage and yoga for both babies and parents.
The studio offers a variety of classes suitable for all ages, from babies to seniors. Baby Yoga classes are designed for babies from 8 weeks up to crawling, while Baby Massage is suitable for newborns up to crawling babies. These classes provide a relaxed and informal environment where parents can dip in and out to feed, cuddle, or attend to their baby's needs. Massage dolls are provided to practise on if the baby falls asleep during the session.
Pregnancy Yoga is also offered at the studio, providing pregnant mothers with an opportunity to prepare for childbirth and connect with their bodies. The classes are organised in 5-week blocks, but participants can join at any time and their place will be saved until they have their baby. Handouts, birth preparation, a WhatsApp group, and recordings for missed sessions are included in the course fee.
In addition to the regular classes, “Baby Yoga and Baby Massage” hosts workshops and special events. One such event is the “Yoga & Well-Being Workshop for the Peri/Menopause,” which aims to support women during this stage of their lives. The workshop includes a 90-minute yoga class specifically designed for this life stage, a talk from a health expert, a women's circle discussion, tips, refreshments, and a goody bag. This workshop requires pre-booking via email.
For those unable to attend in-person classes, there is the option to join the “Yoga for the Menopause” class on Zoom. This class focuses on the theme of sleep and is beneficial for those experiencing anxiety, hot flushes, or who want to build bone density. The Zoom class also provides an opportunity to feel positive about the next stage of life.
To ensure accessibility, modifications are provided in the regular classes when needed, and no previous yoga experience is required. Classes take place at various locations in Bishop's Stortford, including Bishops Park Community Centre and St. James' Trust. The cost for the classes is 8 per session or 35 for a 5-week block.

The cost for the baby massage course is 65, which includes high-quality oils, handouts on strokes and topics, refreshments, and the option to receive a recording if a session is missed.
