Inner North Netball Club (INNC) is a prominent and thriving sports club located in Canberra, Australia. With a strong presence in the netball community, INNC offers opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels to participate in the beloved sport of netball.
INNC has been an active member of the North Canberra Netball Association for eleven successful seasons. In the previous year, the club fielded an impressive 29 teams, consisting of 2 Set teams, 6 Go teams, 6 Junior teams, 6 Intermediate teams, 2 Cadet teams, and 7 Senior teams. This incredible turnout resulted in over 300 playing and non-playing members, solidifying INNC as the largest club registered with the Canberra Netball Association.
The club prides itself on its talented pool of players and coaches. Many members have been selected for representative programmes at various netball associations, including Canberra Netball Association, Belconnen Netball Association, Arawang Netball Association, and Yass Netball Association. Furthermore, numerous players and coaches actively give back to the club by contributing as coaches, assistant coaches, or umpires.
INNC greatly appreciates the dedication and support of its involved parents and members. Their assistance with important tasks such as BBQs and office duties has been crucial to the club's success. The outgoing 2023 committee members deserve a special thank you for their hard work and commitment.
Looking ahead to the 2024 season, INNC is excited to welcome returning and new members for another year of netball. The 2024 committee has already been elected and is ready to lead the club into a successful future.
In an effort to foster a sense of unity among its members, INNC has an online uniform store available for convenient purchase of club uniforms. In case a desired A-Line Dress size is temporarily out of stock, members have the option to purchase shorts and a singlet or patiently wait for new stock to arrive.
It is significant to note that all coaches, umpires, and team managers over the age of 16 must possess a valid Working With Vulnerable People Card (WWVP). This requirement is a legal obligation, and non-compliance can result in significant fines. Volunteers can obtain a WWVP card at no cost by visiting the Access Canberra website for further information.
