Zen Balance, nestled in the coastal town of Poole, United Kingdom, is dedicated to promoting Mindfulness, Wellbeing, and Yoga. Founded by a seasoned expert who previously co-founded Studio 34 in Sandbanks and taught at Yoga Room in Bournemouth, Zen Balance draws from a wealth of experience.
The founder of Zen Balance is currently under the tutelage of Zen Master Julian Daizan Skinner of Zenways, while also studying yoga with John and Lucy Scott. This commitment to continual learning ensures top-notch instruction for all students.
Before shifting to Yoga and Mindfulness, the founder worked as an Investment Banker trading European Equities, but the stress of the corporate world led them towards a path of balance and fulfilment. Their journey began with one-on-one mindfulness sessions with Andy Puddicombe, creator of the Headspace meditation app, and the discovery of yoga as an alternative to traditional gym workouts. This transformation inspired the creation of Zen Balance.
Zen Balance offers a variety of services, including group classes for all levels and personalised one-on-one tuition, which helps build confidence and address individual needs. The studio also specialises in workshops tailored for both the sports and corporate sectors. These workshops help athletes boost their movement efficiency, strength, and overall performance while enhancing employee wellbeing in corporate settings.
