Nicole is a passionate and dedicated Yoga instructor and counsellor based in Varsity Lakes. She embarked on her yoga journey at the age of 24, seeking relief from mental and emotional suffering. From her very first experience, Nicole discovered peace and solace from her busy mind. Intrigued by the vast tools that yoga offered, she delved deeper into her studies, combining counselling with her yoga practise to deliver safe and effective yoga to the community.
Currently studying occupational therapy, Nicole has found her true calling in yoga therapy. Her profound desire is to bridge the gap in yoga and make it accessible to individuals who may be hindered by physical or mental pain. With over a decade of experience and a thirst for knowledge, Nicole is determined to share her light and help others uncover their own inner light through the practise of yoga.
ExperienceNicole has been delivering yoga classes at the Varsity Lakes Community Centre since 2019, where she interacts with people from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds. She takes great care and compassion in catering to the unique needs of the individuals and the community as a whole. Additionally, she provides yoga sessions in a mental health hospital, considering it a humbling opportunity to care for others and share the tools that have tremendously benefited her own personal journey.
EducationNicole's educational background includes a current study in Occupational Therapy at Southern Cross University. She has also completed specialised courses in Yoga Therapy with the Yoga Therapy Insitute, Yoga for grown-ups, and Yoga for mental health. Nicole continues her training with Subtle Yoga Resilience Society and holds a 350-hour Yoga certification with My Health Yoga. Moreover, she graduated with a Diploma in Counselling in 2013, further enhancing her ability to provide holistic support to her clients.

Prior to each appointment, the therapist engages in a comprehensive discussion with the client to understand their concerns and goals. The client is then provided with a detailed practise to be continued at home.
Follow-up appointments are scheduled one to two weeks later, with the third appointment taking place in week six. Committing to these three sessions is crucial to ensure the therapy is personalised and effective.
