Welcome to “Yoga with Christina,” a warm and inviting yoga studio located in the heart of Ringwood. Christina Klein, an American Yogi living in the UK, is passionate about guiding people towards finding their own flow, balance, and strength, both inwardly and outwardly. With her extensive studies, training, and travel experiences, Christina brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep love for using yoga tools for everyday living.
Christina's journey with yoga began in 1992 during her university years, where she was studying the mind and exploring psychology and eastern philosophies. At the time, she was also dealing with grief from the sudden loss of her loved ones. Yoga became a powerful tool for her, helping her see life from different perspectives and reducing her suffering. Inspired by her own transformation, Christina aims to create an extraordinary life for herself and others through yoga.
In addition to her yoga practise, Christina has always been quite sporty, enjoying activities such as mountain biking, dancing, and sailing. She incorporates yoga asanas into her exercise routine to enhance her enjoyment and prevent injuries. With a gymnastics background and teaching experience at the YMCA, Christina's yoga teaching is grounded in a solid foundation. She has also trained with renowned coach Baron Baptise and completed four years of training with the British Wheel of Yoga, the highest governing body for teachers in the UK.
During her training years, Christina had the privilege of being taught by the late TKV Desikachar at the Krishnamacharya Mandiram in Chennai, India. She has also trained in Kerala, India at the Sivananda Ashram and enjoys exploring new yoga classes wherever she travels. Her thirst for knowledge extends beyond the mat, as she finds life's lessons in the most unexpected places. She encourages her students to do the same.
