Welcome to Castle Cove Sailing Club, a friendly and welcoming volunteer-run club located in Portland Harbour, Weymouth. We take pride in our talented and dedicated members, including our current most successful dinghy racer, Sam Pascoe. Sam has achieved multiple championships and recently led the Castle Cove team to victory at the prestigious Draycote Dash event. Sam's achievements are a testament to the calibre of sailors within our club.
In addition to our sailing activities, we also organise special events such as our annual prize-giving and ceilidh. Members can enjoy delicious food, camaraderie, and the celebration of our club's achievements. We also have a crew finder service, allowing members to connect with others who are looking for sailing opportunities or crew members for their boats.

Located on Old Castle Road in Weymouth, our club is easily accessible and provides stunning views of the harbour. We race throughout the summer on Monday and Wednesday evenings starting at 6.30pm or 6.45pm depending on light. Sunday racing starts at Easter and runs until Christmas on a Sunday morning, followed by refreshments in the Clubhouse.
You don't need to own a yacht or dinghy to take part as helms are often looking for crew and the club even has a few dinghies for hire. You only need to be a club member.
