Located in Kalamunda in the beautiful Perth Hills, Linda is not only a yoga teacher but also a postnatal doula, providing comprehensive support to women on their motherhood journey.
Linda's personal experience with hyperemesis gravidarum during pregnancy, a long and intense labour, and overwhelming postpartum challenges inspired her to pursue yoga teacher and postnatal doula training. Her mission is to empower and nourish mothers, especially those who may be finding their journey more challenging than expected or who have unique needs, such as highly sensitive or neurodivergent mothers.
In her gentle and nurturing yoga classes, Linda incorporates breath work, mindful movement, restorative poses, and relaxation. Her classes aim to provide freedom of movement, strength, comfort, and balance, while also fostering a deep connexion to the body and breath. Through conscious awareness and self-compassion, mothers can experience restored energy and vitality, as well as a sense of peace and ease.
Beyond the physical practise of yoga, Linda emphasises the integration of mindfulness into daily life. She believes that mindfulness is a powerful tool for mothers to navigate the demands of motherhood with grace and groundedness. By creating a community of like-minded yogis, Linda encourages connexion, support, and bonding among her yoga mamas, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment.
Linda's training includes postnatal doula training, peaceful parenting education and coaching, Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC) Programme for Providers and Educators, Autistic Wellbeing certification, Hatha Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, Pre/Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training, Yin Yoga Teacher Training, and Kids Yoga Teacher Training. With her extensive background in education and a Bachelor of Arts degree, Linda brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to her classes.
