Welcome to Maylands Tennis Club. We are a boutique grass court club in a secluded location on the Maylands Peninsula, overlooking the Swan River. The sea breeze that sweeps down the river valley in summer keeps us cool, and the grass courts are kind to our joints.
- We play tennis all year round, with 13 grass courts and 3 hard courts (four grass courts over the winter months).
- Our main social tennis day is Sunday afternoon, from 1:30 onwards. We also play social tennis on Tuesday morning, starting at 9:00 AM.
- Both hard and grass courts are available to Club members at any time outside of social play and inter-club competitions.
- At night, a fee of $5 an hour is charged to pay for the court lighting.
- We enter a range of pennant teams (men’s, women’s and mixed) in midweek Tennis West competitions and Saturday afternoon. These provide competitive tennis for players of a wide range of abilities.
- The Club is renowned for its social activities year-round, and we have a restricted bar licence for a wind-down after a game of tennis.
