Yoga in the Vale is a unique and serene yoga studio located in Redmile, Nottingham. Situated in the picturesque Vale of Belvoir, just a few minutes away from the magnificent Belvoir Castle, the studio offers a tranquil and idyllic setting for yoga practitioners of all levels.
The journey of Yoga in the Vale began with the owner's transformative retreat experience at Launde Abbey in December 2019, which inspired her to create a space where people can access and learn about the benefits of yoga and other holistic practises. After exploring the beautiful villages in Leicestershire, she found the perfect property in January 2020 and made it her mission to bring her vision to life.
With the unwavering support of her husband and a determined mindset, the purchase of the property was finalised in July 2020, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. Extensive refurbishment took place, and by June 2021, Yoga in the Vale officially opened its doors, hosting its first successful day retreat.
The studio's location in the countryside offers a much-needed escape from the bustling city environment, providing a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. It is conveniently accessible from Grantham and the East Coast Mainline train network, with direct train journeys to London Kings Cross taking an average of only 70 minutes. The A1 Grantham/A52 junction is also a short 15-minute drive away.
Yoga in the Vale's studio is a spacious and light-filled space, providing a simple and soulful atmosphere for yoga classes, workshops, and retreats. With ample natural light and views of the surrounding fields and lawn, the studio exudes tranquilly. The space is soundproofed, ensuring privacy and the freedom to practise yoga without any distractions. It can comfortably accommodate up to 9 participants and 1 instructor, with high-speed Wi-Fi, heating, ventilation, and dimmable lighting.
Additionally, there is one shared toilet facility available for classes.
The on-site accommodation at Yoga in the Vale is cosy and comfortable, perfect for retreats or longer stays. The house features high-speed Wi-Fi, a kitchen dining area, and two reception rooms, along with additional toilet facilities. There are four double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, all with en-suite bathrooms. For larger groups, there is an additional dining room, reception room, and three bedrooms comprising two double bedrooms and a twin room.
These rooms share a spacious bathroom with a toilet, bath, and shower cubicle. A brochure detailing the accommodation is available upon request.
Outside, the studio has a lawned area where outdoor classes can be held, allowing for a connexion with nature. There is also a larger garden space where individuals can relax and unwind after their yoga practise.
Yoga in the Vale offers various pricing options, including regular day and evening class hire, as well as half-day and full-day hire of the studio and house. Retreat brochure requests can be made for those interested in longer stays and holistic experiences.
