Tulett Park in North-West Christchurch is the proud home of Nomads United Football Club, one of New Zealand's historic and largest football clubs. Established in 1910, Nomads United has always been dedicated to providing affordable and quality football for everyone – regardless of age, skills, gender, or ethnicity.
Nomads United AFC, led by Chris, manages teams for all age groups, starting from First Kicks (4–6 years) right up to Senior Football (20+ years). Inclusivity is a key part of the club's ethos, welcoming players from various backgrounds and fostering a vibrant, multi-ethnic community.
Registrations for the winter competition kick off in early January, with the season running from the first Saturday of May until late September. There’s also a buzzing Summer Football competition from October to December, and it pays to sign up early due to its popularity.
Beyond the regular leagues, Chris and the team at Nomads United AFC organise an array of programmes and activities throughout the year. These include Pre-Academy and Academy Programmes, Skills Centres, Holiday Programmes, Goal Keeper Clinics, Mini Football for primary schools, and Give-it-a-go days. The club also hosts club days plus various events and functions aimed at creating an enjoyable experience for everyone involved – players, families, friends, and supporters.
