Teignbridge Trotters Running Club is excited to announce the Totnes 10K Race, happening on Sunday, 4th August 2024 at 11:00 am. This annual event features a scenic off-road route along the River Dart, starting and finishing at Borough Park with Totnes Leisure Centre as the Race HQ. With a limit of 625 participants, it's best to secure a spot early as the race has sold out before. Participants can expect facilities like showers, toilets, and changing rooms at the Race HQ.
There will be custom-made medals for all finishers and various prizes for top male and female finishers, vet categories, and team awards. The prize presentation will be at 12:45 pm. It's important to note that headphones are not allowed during the race.
The Totnes 10K Race has a track record of supporting Totnes Caring, raising funds to assist the elderly in Totnes. Refreshments, including the famous Trotter cakes, will be available, and there may be a BBQ if the weather permits. A bag drop service will be provided, and medical staff will be present. Additionally, there will be live race commentary through a professional PA system.
For those looking for a shorter distance, there is a 1-mile Fun Run around Borough Park starting at 10:15 am, suitable for participants of all ages. Prizes will be awarded for different age categories, and every participant will receive a unique Totnes medal and chocolate.
