The gym is divided into three main training categories: SPIN, STRETCH, and SWEAT. The STRETCH classes focus on building strength, flexibility, and mobility and include options such as pilates reformer and mat. To give people the opportunity to try out TORQ F1T, they offer a 3-day pass that is valid for one week. The gym's operating hours are from Monday to Friday, 5:30AM to 8PM, and Saturday from 7AM to 10AM. TORQ F1T is closed on most holidays.
TORQ F1T was founded by Ryan and Erin Rowell. Ryan began his journey in fitness through motocross racing in Southern California and is a retired motocross professional. He has accomplished earning the #1 Plate in the AMA 125A class in 2009 and is a podium contender in both motocross and off-road racing. Ryan is also an avid cyclist and currently races mountain bikes while training other professional and amateur athletes.
He holds certifications in NASM-CPT, TRX, USAW, CPR, and First Aid.
Erin, as the owner of TORQ F1T, is thrilled to bring her vision of fitness to life in her hometown of Torquay. She started her love for athleticism by racing motorcycles in 1999 and eventually turned pro, becoming the world's first woman to qualify for a Men's AMA Supermoto Championship event. Throughout her racing career, Erin worked as a fitness model and ambassador for well-known fitness brands. She is passionate about inspiring and empowering others to achieve their fitness goals and holds certifications as an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and in CPR and First Aid.
