Top Hat Stage School, under the guidance of founder Sarah, has been delivering top-quality performing arts training to children and teens for over 27 years. As Hertfordshire's longest-running part-time stage school, they focus on providing “Quality performing arts training,” ensuring every course lives up to this ethos.

Classes are offered at weekends during school terms for children aged 4 to 5 (Tiny Toppers) and those aged 6 and above (Top Hatters). Sessions are grouped by age to challenge and help each child reach their full potential, with a promise of personalised attention due to smaller class sizes.

Sarah and the team welcome children of all skill levels, from seasoned young professionals to complete newcomers. Every child finds a place at Top Hat.

Top Hat's teachers are no ordinary instructors; they are seasoned professionals from Theatre Arts involved in West End productions, TV, and Films, all CRB checked and trained in first aid. They are passionate about their craft and committed to delivering the best training experience.

Alongside the stage school, Top Hat runs the TOP TALENT AGENCY, representing many students looking to step into professional roles. The agency provides casting preparation and audition technique improvement and opens its books twice a year for new talent.
