Welcome to The Body Box – Personal Training Studio in Lewes! We are a private fitness centre that focuses on building strength, fostering a strong community, and promoting sustainability. Our goal is to provide a space where individuals can push their limits, connect with like-minded people, and contribute to a greener environment.

Our team of experienced and qualified trainers are here to guide you on your fitness journey. Shelley, the founder of The Body Box, has over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry and holds a sport science and teaching degree. With her extensive scientific knowledge, Shelley is able to educate and motivate clients to achieve their exercise goals. She leads our fitness classes and also offers personalised one-on-one and small group training sessions.

Jason Paterson, our sports therapist, is trained in Soft Tissue Therapy at the renowned London School of Sports Massage. He is also a certified Personal Trainer and holds qualifications from organisations such as The Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage, Federation of Holistic Therapists, and Register of Exercise Professionals. Jason's background in health and social care allows him to provide a holistic approach to therapy, helping clients to help themselves.

Chloe Stephens, another member of our team, focuses on creating lasting change through her down-to-earth and non-judgmental approach. She holds a Precision Nutrition qualification and has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Through 1:1 coaching sessions, she works with clients to develop sustainable strategies for long-term success.

Sarah Moscatelli specialises in training females and is also a certified Nutrition Coach. She primarily works with mothers who are looking to get back into fitness after having children. Sarah provides guidance on both training and nutrition, helping clients to achieve their desired goals and feel good about themselves.

Ellen Upton, a qualified personal trainer since 2019, specialises in pre and postnatal fitness. As a mother herself, she understands the importance of exercise and nutrition for mental health and overall well-being. Ellen can assist with fat loss, muscle growth, and overall improvement in physical and mental health.

Our fitness studio is conveniently located at Unit 3 Malthouse, Abyss Brewery Yard, Daveys Lane, Lewes. We are open daily and offer a variety of membership options, including the newly introduced unlimited membership. Our studio is designed with sustainability in mind, utilising self-efficient energy and minimising the use of plastic.
