It all started with Thomas Shapland, who began teaching swimming in Toowoomba. His son, Bernard Shapland, then took over in 1947, continuing the family's legacy of teaching swimming locally and coaching at the national level.
In 1992, Chris Shapland, a member of the illustrious swimming family, documented their proven and effective method. This method, consisting of five skill levels, can now be taught by Swim Schools franchisees and teachers across various locations. Our program is carefully personalised by our dedicated teachers to meet the unique needs of each student.
