Welcome to Sutton & District Athletics Club, a friendly and inclusive community athletics club located in Carshalton, Surrey. We warmly invite athletes of all abilities, starting from school year 5 and above, to become full members of our club.
At Sutton & District AC, we offer training in a variety of athletic disciplines including Track and Field, Cross Country, and Sportshall Athletics. Our qualified coaches, who have years of experience, are dedicated to guiding and supporting you to improve your performance and progress in your chosen event(s).
Please note that we currently have a waiting list for membership places as the club is run by volunteers, and we have limited spaces available in our coaching groups. However, we are gradually opening our waiting lists and will be in contact with you soon if your name is on our list. To join, please register online on our 'How to join' page, and you will then be placed onto our waiting list.
Sutton & District AC is entirely run by volunteers, and we are always in need of more dedicated individuals to continue running the club smoothly and bringing in more athletes. Specifically, we require officials, team managers, coaches (especially a Throws coach), coaching assistants, a membership secretary, welfare officers, and fundraisers. We are proud to congratulate Jade Ive and her coach, Brian, on becoming the British Athletics Champion in the Pole Vault at Birmingham in 2023.
If you are interested in joining Sutton & District AC, please complete the registration form on our website. We will then advise you on the best time for your induction and meeting with our coaches. Please avoid turning up at the track without a prior booking, as we do not have the resources to accommodate potential athletes who haven't registered.
Furthermore, we are in need of more officials for our club, and we encourage parents, grandparents, siblings, and other family members to participate. No experience is required, as training will be provided. Athletics events require a minimum number of officials, and with your help, we can ensure that these events run smoothly and safely.
