LJ Dance – Dance & Gymnastics Club, located in Preston, offers an exciting Gymnastics For All event that is perfect for all interested players. Whether you're a budding gymnast or have some experience under your belt, this event is designed to cater to everyone's needs and abilities.
The event will take place at our club's premises, which is conveniently located at St. James Church in Lostock Hall, Preston. You can easily find us at PR5 5QY. Our class timetable is available for download on our website, and it's worth noting that classes are available from Monday to Friday.
For those who are new to gymnastics or have little experience, we have a juniors class that focuses on building the basic foundations of the sport. Participants will not only learn essential skills but also have a great time learning a variety of routines. Furthermore, dancers from our juniors class may even have the opportunity to join our competition team if they so desire.
If you're aged 12 and above and looking for a challenge, our senior class is the perfect fit for you. This class delves deeper into the world of gymnastics and also incorporates commercial dance. Similar to the juniors class, there is the possibility of joining our competition team for those interested in taking their skills to the next level.
At LJ Dance, we understand the importance of finding the right fit for each participant. That's why we offer taster sessions for both gymnasts and dancers. This gives individuals the chance to try out the classes before committing to a membership. During the trial period, participants can pay per week. However, once they decide to become a member, the payment structure changes to a monthly basis.
To ensure that everyone gets a chance to participate, booking is required before attending a class. Depending on the class, there may also be waiting lists available. We welcome beginners of all ages and are more than happy to assist parents in finding the most suitable class for their child.
For those considering cost, we offer transparent pricing. During the trial period, the cost is calculated based on the number of hours attended, at a rate of £4.50 per hour. After becoming a full member, the monthly fees are £17 for beginner/junior classes and £25.50 for intermediate/senior classes.
It's worth noting that our monthly fees are calculated based on 45 weeks per year, spread over 12 months. Payments are due on the 1st of each month, and we also account for holiday breaks such as the Christmas period, summer holidays, and Easter break. There is no contract for our members, but we kindly request a one-month notice if you decide to leave.
Due to space limitations and current COVID-19 restrictions, unfortunately, we are unable to allow parents to watch the classes. However, we regularly post videos and photos on our Facebook page, ensuring that parents can see and share in the joy of their children's progress. Additionally, we actively participate in carnivals and shows where parents and family members are more than welcome to attend and show their support.
