Dominic Rushmore, the founder and instructor at St Mark's Tai Chi Group, boasts an impressive background in Chinese health systems. Born and bred in Northamptonshire, he initially pursued a career in teaching and IT before shifting his focus towards Tai Chi, Qigong, and other Chinese health practises.
Dominic's dedication and expertise have been recognised internationally, as he achieved a gold medal at the 10th International Health Qigong Conference held at Beijing Sports University in 2010. During this event, he also obtained his 4th Duan Instructors certificate in Daoyin Yangsheng Gong. He is also an instructor member of the Longfei Taijiquan Association, a certified instructor of Tai Chi for Arthritis and Daoyin Yangsheng Gong, as well as a member of the Chinese Internal Arts Association and the Guizhou Tai Chi Research Institute.
In 2015, Dominic attended the Celebrations of Li Tianji's 100th Birthday in Beijing, where he once again achieved a gold medal as part of the Longfei UK team. Additionally, he completed a Tui Na course at Shulan College in June 2013, becoming well-versed in Chinese therapeutic massage.

Throughout his career, Dominic has always prioritised maintaining high standards of professional care. He studied acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, graduating in 1999. Furthermore, in 2019, he travelled to Beijing with a group of experienced teachers to deepen his understanding and interpretation of the exercises through training with Hu Xiao Fei, the director of the Daoyin Centre at Beijing Sport University.
At St Mark's Tai Chi Group, their focus is on actively promoting the health and wellbeing of individuals through the practise of Tai Chi, Qigong, and Tui Na. The school provides a welcoming and supportive environment where students can explore these ancient arts to enhance their overall physical and mental wellbeing.
