Welcome to Southsea Skatepark, the oldest and most iconic skatepark in the UK! With 45 years of history, we continue to open our doors all year round, catering to skateboarders of all skill levels, from beginners to professionals. Operated by a charity, all the income generated at Southsea Skatepark is used to keep the park running smoothly and to make improvements. We greatly appreciate donations and also welcome sponsorship offers.
Our park is located on the picturesque Southsea Seafront, offering a refreshing and breathtaking backdrop for skaters. Southsea Skatepark is known for its friendly and inclusive atmosphere, where everyone is invited to join in on the fun and experience the joy of skateboarding. Whether you're a seasoned skater or just starting out, we have something for everyone.
Our opening hours vary depending on the day and term times, so be sure to check our social media channels or club directories for the most up-to-date information. We have designated days for specific activities, such as Bike Night on Wednesdays and Skate Night on Thursdays. On Fridays, we have open sessions to accommodate all sports enthusiasts. Our weekend hours are divided into three sessions, providing ample time for everyone to enjoy the park.
To access our park, we offer various pricing options. A two-hour session costs 6. 00, while a three-hour session is priced at 8. 00.
Friday Night Specials from 3pm to 8pm are available for 8. 00, and the Weekend Double, which allows access from 12pm to 6pm, is priced at 12. 00. PCC Leisure Card holders enjoy a 50% discount on standard sessions.
At Southsea Skatepark, safety is a priority. Children under the age of eight must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. We ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone who visits our park.
We also have an exciting calendar of events lined up throughout the year. Keep an eye on our Events page to stay updated on all the latest happenings. As a charity-run establishment, every penny we raise at Southsea Skatepark goes directly towards improving our facilities. We encourage you to contribute and show your support by donating as little as one pound.
