The name SO8, or Science of Eight, refers to the eight parts of the body used in Muay Thai: two hands, two elbows, two knees, and two feet/legs.

The team at SO8 consists of experienced and dedicated instructors. Ian Davies, the founder and chief instructor of SO8, began his Muay Thai journey in 1986. Despite a brief hiatus due to a lack of training facilities in Cornwall, he established Sitnarong Falmouth in 1992 with the blessings of Master Sken. Ian has had the privilege of training under esteemed teachers such as Master Sken & Master Bob, Master Pimu, and Kru Sandy Holt.
