One of the key benefits of joining Severn Vale Badminton Club is automatic membership with Badminton England, our sports governing body. We take pride in our achievements as a club and have been recognised as a Badminton England leading Club since 2008. We have also achieved Club Mark Status, which acknowledges and rewards badminton clubs that demonstrate exceptional quality and standards. These accomplishments are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers and coaches who contribute towards the success of Severn Vale Badminton Club.

Our club nights are held every Monday and Wednesday evening at Thornbury Leisure Centre. During winter, from September to March, our sessions run from 7pm to 9pm on both nights. Throughout summer, from April to August, we maintain the same schedule, allowing our members to continue playing and enjoying badminton year-round.

We are proud to be one of the few clubs that also offer sessions during summer. This unique opportunity provides flexibility for members to attend our club nights on a pay-as-you-go basis, or opt for regular attendance and pay for the entire season upfront. Whether there are matches being held or not, there is always a good selection of players available for club-night opposition.

Severn Vale Badminton Club attracts members from South Gloucestershire, North Bristol, and beyond. Our geographical reach extends to welcome players from wider areas, fostering a diverse and vibrant badminton community.
