Classes at the Sevenoaks Kundalini Yoga Collective are held at 145 Pilgrims Way, Kemsing, Sevenoaks, Kent TN15 6TR. Parking is available on the nearby side street, The Chase. The garden studio can be accessed through the gate on the left side of the house.
Kundalini Yoga classes are led by experienced teachers Mary Ann or Bill. These friendly classes are suitable for those who have attended the beginners' course or have some previous experience with yoga. The classes are held on Tuesdays from 9:30-11am and Thursdays from 7:30-9pm. The cost for classes is 10, and participants are encouraged to stay for a cup of herbal tea and nibbles afterwards.
Hatha Yoga classes are also offered at the studio by Sophie Chatfield. Sophie completed her Yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, and infuses her classes with her light and beautiful energy. Hatha Yoga classes are held on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:30-11am. Due to the small class size, it is recommended to check availability first by contacting Sophie at 07926 460105.
The drop-in rate for Hatha Yoga classes is 15, with class packs also available averaging to 12. 50 per class.
For those new to Kundalini Yoga, an Introduction to Kundalini Yoga course is offered. The next course starts in January and consists of five Wednesday sessions from Jan 17th to Feb 21st, with no class on Jan 31st. The course runs from 7:30-9pm and costs 75. In this relaxed atmosphere, total beginners can learn the fundamentals of Kundalini Yoga postures, breathing techniques, mantra, mudra, and meditation.
