Sam Hutchinson, owner of Sam Hutchinson Fitness, extends a warm invitation to the sports community. Her fitness centre and Pilates studio, situated in Bristol with locations in Thornbury and Alveston, offers a variety of classes including Zumba, Pilates, Barre, and older adults' aerobics. These classes are available in formats such as Face-to-Face Live sessions in local village halls, Online Live classes via Zoom, and On-Demand Studio weekly memberships providing access to over 300 workouts.
Having over eighteen years of experience in the fitness industry, Sam is committed to ensuring exercise has a positive impact on participants' lives. She places importance on finding joy in exercise and feeling better afterwards. By fostering a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in her classes, she ensures participants have a rewarding and enjoyable experience while achieving a good workout.
Sam is particularly passionate about using Pilates as a treatment for conditions like back pain, arthritis, and osteoporosis. She also supports recovery from joint replacement surgery. With her specialist exercise qualifications, Sam offers one-to-one Pilates training sessions that are tailored to improve balance, mobility, strength, and flexibility, while helping to alleviate pain.
In March 2020, Sam moved her classes online and introduced a pre-recorded workout membership, providing greater convenience and flexibility for participants to exercise from home. This transition has enabled her to offer specialised programmes that make a positive impact on more people's fitness and overall quality of life.
Sam holds various qualifications in dance-based fitness, Zumba, barre, and specialist exercises for managing low back pain, adapting exercise for older adults, and postural assessment and corrective training. She is also a qualified personal trainer and certified in fitness instruction and circuit training.
