Rice's Swimming School

Established in 1959, Rice's Swimming School is a family operated swim school which is renown for its friendly and personal approach to teaching children aged from 4 - 12 years how to swim. Our purpose is to teach water safety and inspire a love for the water.  Our staff are trained and training  school teachers who all have Austswim accreditation. They are very professional, dedicated and understand how children learn.

Situated on a large block in a quiet area of Sutherland, our swim school is the perfect location for children to learn to swim and, in our more advanced classes, improve upon their swimming technique. Each season sees over 350 students develop their confidence and abilities in the water. Our outdoor pools are set in a beautiful 60-year old garden, and there is a large lawn area for parents and younger children to enjoy while the lessons are in progress.
