While a contribution is requested to cover the cost of the sessions, all the passionate Yoga practitioners who teach at PranYog Reading offer their services for free. This allows individuals to enjoy the benefits of Yoga without any financial limitations.
During the Yoga sessions at PranYog Reading, participants receive instruction on a variety of Yoga principles, including Pranayama (breathing exercises) and Asanas (Yoga positions). Meditation practise and advice on general well-being are also incorporated into the classes. Sessions are held at the Reading Hindu Temple, and although they take place in a temple setting, the Yoga classes are secular in nature.

This is because Yoga involves movements that may squeeze and wring out the internal organs, which can be uncomfortable if the stomach and intestinal tract are full. Loose-fitting clothing is also encouraged to allow freedom of movement.
Participants are advised to bring a Yoga mat, as well as a water bottle for hydration. Additionally, bringing a blanket for the Savasana (final relaxation) is welcomed for added comfort and warmth.
PranYog Reading understands that individuals may have medical conditions, injuries, or pregnant, and the sessions can be adapted accordingly. Participants are encouraged to communicate any such concerns to their session instructor before the class. The dedicated instructors are always available to answer any questions and provide guidance. PranYog Reading emphasises that the sessions are not about outward achievement or ambition but rather about connecting with oneself and embarking on a journey of inner exploration.
