Encore Pilates, the premier Pilates club in Kings Langley, is excited to announce an upcoming event tailored specifically for new mothers and their babies. Presenting Post-Natal – Mum & Baby, this specialist small group class is ideal for mums with babies who are not yet on the move.
Designed to cater to your unique needs, Post-Natal – Mum & Baby is recommended for mums who have had a natural birth and have received the 'all clear' from their doctor or physiotherapist at their 6-week check. If you've faced post-natal issues or had a C-section delivery, we kindly request that you seek approval from a healthcare professional before joining the class.
During this low-impact session, you will engage in various exercises performed while lying down, sitting, and standing on the mat. The primary focus will be on breath-work and the activation of pelvic floor muscles, which is fundamental for deep abdominal or 'core' activation. With the aim of improving full body muscle tone and mobility, this class is designed to enhance your confidence and overall well-being.
To ensure maximal attention and individualised guidance, classes are limited to a maximum of 8 women. We firmly believe in fostering a safe and supportive environment for all participants. That's why we enthusiastically welcome your babies to join you during the class. Don't worry if you're new to Pilates – no previous experience is required!
