The Pilates Studio, “Pilates For Movement. Pilates in Cambridge,” is a welcoming and professional studio located in the heart of Cambridge, UK. Owned and operated by Bethia Hope-Rollins, a highly qualified and experienced movement teacher, the studio offers a range of classes and services to help clients access their full movement potential, alleviate pain, and move with efficiency and confidence.
Bethia's journey in the Pilates industry began in 2001 when she discovered the transformative power of Pilates after leaving a sedentary office job. With a background in gymnastics and Kung Fu, Bethia quickly fell in love with the practise and decided to pursue a career in teaching. Now over twenty years later, she is a comprehensively qualified teacher of Matwork, Equipment, and Pre & Postnatal Pilates.
In addition to her Pilates qualifications, Bethia is also a certified exercise specialist in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) and a trained Hypopressives trainer. This diverse range of skills allows her to provide comprehensive and personalised support to her clients.
At the Pilates For Movement studio, clients have access to a fully equipped open floor Pilates studio located in the central Cambridge clinic, Dynamic Osteopathy Cambridge (DOC), which Bethia co-owns with her husband, Daniel Rollins. Bethia also teaches intermediate group classes in a local community studio, providing a variety of options for clients to choose from.
Bethia's teaching philosophy is centred around empowering her clients to realise their movement potential and live dynamic, healthy lives. She has worked with clients from all walks of life and takes great pride in helping them achieve their goals. As a mentor and educator for Polestar Pilates UK, Bethia also supports the professional growth of teachers in training, helping them develop both their teaching skills and their own movement ability.
In addition to her work in Pilates, Bethia has created professional workshops focused on working with pre and postnatal women in the Pilates environment. She has also trained as a Doula, providing support to women throughout pregnancy, labour, and birth. With her own three daughters, she brings a wealth of personal experience and understanding to her work.
To learn more about the techniques Bethia uses, the studio, or to book a session, clients are encouraged to visit the studio's website or get in touch directly.
