Osprey Retreat Yoga Studio, located on the serene shore of Lake Echo in Mineville, Nova Scotia, offers a peaceful environment to practice yoga under the guidance of Judy Hamilton, a certified Kripalu Yoga teacher with many years of experience. Judy discovered the healing transformation of Kripalu Yoga during a challenging time in her life, and it has since revitalized her body, calmed her mind, and deepened her self-awareness.
Having graduated with a 200-hour certificate in Kripalu Yoga from the Atlantic Yoga Teacher Training in Halifax, Judy also holds teaching certificates in Yoga for Kids, Seniors Yoga, and Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga. Additionally, she is a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho method of natural healing. Judy continues to take courses and workshops to provide the best possible instruction for her students, reflecting her dedication to lifelong learning and growth.
As a retiree from the Halifax Regional School Board, Judy now offers a variety of yoga classes for beginners, intermediates, and seniors in her tranquil studio at Osprey Retreat. She invites individuals of all ages and genders to experience the benefits of yoga in a supportive and welcoming environment. Through her teachings, Judy aims to inspire others to find inner peace, harmony, and balance, echoing the sentiment of Ghandi: "Be the change you want to see in the world.
