KPC Self Defense Halifax

Instructors have backgrounds in various self-defence systems, law enforcement, and military, bringing a diverse range of expertise to our classes.

At KPC Self Defence Halifax, we believe in offering practical and effective self-defence training for individuals of all skill levels. Our classes focus on goal-oriented programs that are designed through research and are up-to-date with real-world situations. We understand the importance of addressing the different types of violence that men and women may face, as well as the significance of situational awareness, de-escalation strategies, and dealing with the aftermath of violence.

We offer weekly adult classes in a fun and friendly environment, with discounts available for law enforcement, military, and first responders. Additionally, we provide semi-private/small group and corporate training sessions upon request. We do not require contracts, belts, or charge fees for testing, ensuring a stress-free and accessible learning experience for all. Our next Self Defence 101 program is set to start on April 3rd, 2024.

Our training group is a branch of the original KPC Self Defence Gym in Edmonton, with roots in Krav Maga, Filipino Martial Arts, and Jeet Kune do. We are dedicated to evolving our programs, pressure testing our techniques, and prioritizing the safety of our students above all else.
