Dylan would like to extend a warm invitation to the sports community on behalf of the New Zealand Skydiving School in Parakai. This school is both an adventure sports hub and an educational institution, focused on delivering thorough skydiving training.
The diploma programme at the school is a 32-week full-time course that includes 200 skydives. It’s structured around five modules covering everything from parachute packing and aircraft procedures to safety protocols and advanced manoeuvres. For those already holding a licence, the first module is not required, and they’ll complete 170 skydives instead.
Dylan wants everyone to know that the school is dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment. They have modern facilities equipped with the latest technology to ensure a safe and effective experience for all students. Their team of instructors comes with a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
On the financial side, domestic students will pay $12,017 if they're unlicensed and $9,422 if licensed. International students face fees of $19,252 for unlicensed and $16,680 for licensed participants. Students will also need to purchase their own equipment, with details available from the school.
To apply or get more information, Dylan suggests filling out an enquiry form on the school's website. You’ll receive a course prospectus and an application form via email. The prospectus includes all crucial details like prerequisites, application process, costs, and course modules.
Once you submit an application, you'll be contacted for an interview, which can be done in person or via Skype. This is a chance to ask questions and learn more about the course. If accepted, the Course Administrator will guide you through enrolment.
Please note, the school doesn’t provide help with NZ immigration student visa applications, Studylink loans, or Fees Free.
Dylan is confident that the New Zealand Skydiving School offers a solid programme that blends theoretical knowledge and practical experience, ensuring students gain all the skills needed for a successful skydiving career.
