Are you the owner of Helensville Bowling Club?

Welcome to Helensville Bowling Club, a historic sports club located in Auckland, New Zealand. Originally known as Awaroa Bowling Club when it first started in the season of 1913/14, the club has a rich history and has seen several developments over the years.
In the 1952/53 season, the ladies club was established following the closure of the croquet club on the adjacent property. In 1998/99, the mens and ladies clubs amalgamated, creating a unified and supportive community of bowlers. In 1985, the mens club shifted from the Auckland Centre to the North Shore Centre, now known as North Harbour.
Walking through the main lounge area, the club's history of talent becomes evident. The walls showcase an impressive collection of 20 Auckland and 39 North Harbour centre titles, along with three National titles. Helensville Bowling Club has consistently performed well in competitions, winning the North Harbour Mens A Division Interclub competition five times in the last seven years.
The club's flagship tournament for men is the Ross McMurdo Memorial Open Fours, which was first played in 1968 in honour of the former president who tragically passed away in a car accident. With a prize pool of $3,000. 00, this event attracts participants from far and wide. The Women's main tournament is the Classic Fours, held on a weekend that is yet to be determined, and offers a prize money of $1,000.
