The practise of yoga and holds a certification as a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Australian Yoga Teachers Association. She has also completed a Diploma in Hypermobility, allowing her to provide specialised instruction and support to individuals with hypermobile joints.
Through her classes at New Day Yoga, Bek aims to create a judgement-free zone where students can break through barriers and beliefs that hold them back from achieving personal freedom. Her approach is warm, hands-on, and spiritually insightful, allowing students to connect with themselves and with others in a supportive community.
Bek's journey with yoga began in early 2010 during a chaotic time in her life. Seeking solace and a way to provide the lifestyle she desired for her children, she stumbled upon a yoga DVD that would change her life. From that first session, she experienced a sense of peace and an intimate connexion to herself that she had never felt before.
Since then, Bek has dedicated herself to the study and practise of yoga, both through personal study and formal education. She has delved into books, workshops, and trainings to deepen her understanding and knowledge of the practise. Her dedication and patience have allowed her to develop a compassionate and empathetic teaching style that helps her students overcome obstacles and find personal freedom.
Bek's students often speak highly of her ability to create a safe and supportive environment in her classes. Her empathy and compassion shine through in her teaching, helping students feel seen, heard, and supported on their journey. She is dedicated to helping her students achieve their full potential and find healing on physical, mental, and spiritual levels.
In addition to her teaching, Bek is a mother to five children and is married to a supportive husband who also practises yoga. Together, they have created a happy and harmonious household that fosters growth and wellbeing.
