Welcome to Myofascial & Sports Therapy, a holistic health care studio located in Boronia, Australia. Founded by Kelly Linaker, our studio aims to provide comprehensive and personalised services to clients of all ages and physical abilities. We offer a range of therapies and classes, including Myotherapy, Sports Massage, Remedial Massage, Spiky Ball classes, Yin Yoga classes, Online classes, and Telehealth.
At Myofascial & Sports Therapy, we believe in treating the body as a complex system, incorporating a mind-body approach to health and wellness. Our Myotherapy services are based on evidence-based practise and can support the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, chronic and postural conditions, and sports and occupational injuries.
Sports Massage is another speciality of ours, which can be beneficial for pre and post-sporting events as well as injury rehabilitation. Our skilled therapists are trained to reduce or eliminate musculoskeletal pain and restore function to muscles through Remedial Massage.
For those who prefer self-maintenance, our Spiky Ball classes are a great option. These classes teach self-massage exercises using spiky balls to enhance muscle release. We also offer Yin Yoga classes, which are mostly floor-based and focus on holding poses for 2–5 minutes, utilising props for support and relaxation.
In today's digital age, we understand the importance of convenience. That's why we offer online classes, including Spiky Ball and Yin Yoga, so you can enjoy our services from the comfort of your own home. We also provide Telehealth consultations, allowing us to assess and formulate treatment plans for clients through online platforms.
Kelly Linaker, the founder of Myofascial & Sports Therapy, has nearly two decades of experience in the health and wellness industry. As a successful amateur athlete herself, she has competed in ITU and Xterra World Championship events in Australia and abroad. With her extensive experience as an athlete and working directly with athletes, Kelly is well-known for her dedication to helping people achieve their goals and dreams by being the best version of themselves.
Kelly's expertise extends to the field of Myotherapy, Remedial Massage, and Sports Massage. She has worked with numerous world-class athletes, including those from the Australian Institute of Sport. Currently, she combines her Myotherapy work with a role as a Senior Lecturer for Myotherapy and Remedial Massage.
