At Mel's Yoga, the emphasis is not on competition or flexibility, but rather on self-care and self-discovery. Mel believes that yoga can be incorporated into every aspect of one's life, from acts of kindness towards oneself and others to finding contentment and stillness within. Through her classes, she encourages her students to find that quiet place inside, so they can better understand themselves and be present in every moment.
Mel's Yoga welcomes beginners with open arms, so if you haven't tried yoga before, there's no need to be nervous. Regardless of your level of flexibility, Mel's classes are designed to meet the needs of all individuals. You don't need any special equipment either. Just come in loose and comfortable clothing that allows you to move and stretch without discomfort, and Mel will provide the necessary equipment for the class.
