Cainara is a soon-to-be graduate from a Psychology degree programme, which adds a unique depth to her understanding of child development and well-being. She also holds international certification as a yoga teacher, allowing her to combine her knowledge of psychology with the transformative power of yoga.
At Me Hearties Yoga and Mindfulness, Cainara focuses on helping children overcome a variety of challenges, including bedtime struggles, lack of focus and concentration, stress and anxiety, poor posture and motor skills, emotional regulation, difficulty in self-expression, peer pressure and social anxiety, low self-esteem, and body image concerns. She understands that each child is unique and designs tailored programmes to meet their specific needs.
Not only does Cainara work with children, but she also supports parents in managing their own stressors and challenges. She recognises the immense pressure parents face, including stress and overwhelm, parental guilt, fatigue and burnout, anxiety, lack of self-care, isolation and loneliness, anger and frustration, and communication challenges. Through her programmes, she provides practical tools and techniques to help parents find balance and clarity amid the chaos of daily life.
Whether online or in-person, Cainara offers a range of programmes and resources to support families on their journey towards harmony and well-being. She invites families to join her online portal, Me Hearties, which provides access to yoga lessons, mindful stories, and meditations. She also offers the “Kids Yoga Lab,” where she combines the latest scientific discoveries with mindfulness practises to help children cultivate emotional and physical well-being.
For those in the Adelaide area, Cainara offers a heartfelt in-person Yoga and Mindfulness Programme at The Apex Park Community Centre. This 10-week programme is designed for parents and children aged 3 to 5 and will start on April 19th, 2024. Here, families can learn how to use yoga and mindfulness to create a harmonious and joyful family life.
