MCMA - Modern Combat Martial Arts is a renowned martial arts school located in Watford, Hertfordshire. With our own premises in Harrow and Watford, we offer a variety of Martial Arts and Self Defence classes for adults, children, and females only. Our classes cater to beginners through to advanced levels of coaching.

At MCMA, our expert coaches specialise in various martial arts disciplines including Krav Maga, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Kickboxing, and Boxing. Whether you are completely new to martial arts, an advanced practitioner, or interested in entering tournaments, we have classes tailored to your needs.

We take pride in providing women-only classes, some of which are instructed by female instructors. Additionally, we offer self-defence training courses that have garnered an outstanding reputation. As an expanding and established community-focused academy, our goal is to inspire and empower individuals through martial arts.

Our Head Instructors boast over 20 years of expertise in Martial Arts. They are highly experienced in their respective disciplines and ensure a dynamic and modern approach to teaching martial arts. We prioritise individualised training and welcome all ages and abilities of men, women, and kids.

In addition to our in-person classes, we offer MCMA VTOnline, an innovative virtual training platform. This platform allows you to access live training sessions and educational training programmes from the comfort of your own home, workplace, or even while on holiday or business abroad. With MCMA VTOnline, you can learn from our highly qualified instructors in different disciplines, enabling you to achieve your personal goals.

Meet our Head Instructors, David Hall and Joel Bennett. David is MCMA's Head Instructor, specialising in Krav Maga and Self Defence. He is a certified instructor under the world-renowned Krav Maga HaimZut Federation and The Wingate Institute in Israel. David also trains under the guidance of Joel Bennett, the Chief Instructor of Krav Maga Haim Zut UK.

Joel Bennett serves as the UK's Chief Instructor for Krav Maga Haim Zut and is a Chief Instructor within the Krav Maga Haim Zut Organisation from Israel. He brings a wealth of expertise and experience to our academy.
