In addition, Marie hosts monthly sessions such as “Shake the Dust” on Saturdays at Happy OM Yoga Studio and Winter Yin classes on Sundays from December to March.
The Embodied Flow classes are inspired by Marie's 300-hour studies with the school of Authentic Flow. These classes aim to cultivate a deeper connexion to oneself and understanding of the body's felt sense. With careful guidance and somatic explorations of yoga asana, participants learn to listen and respond to their internal body language. Yoga philosophy is also explored from an embodied perspective, providing attendees with agency over their bodies and choices.
These classes prioritise trauma sensitivity and welcome practitioners of all levels.
” Shake the Dust” classes combine high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and yoga to offer a well-balanced practise for managing mental health, emotional well-being, and physical strength. These classes are suitable for individuals of all fitness levels and yoga experience.
During the winter months, Marie offers Yin Yoga classes that prioritise quietude, stillness, and going inward. These classes provide a space for participants to rest, receive, and regenerate through the practise of Yin Yoga and accompanying tools for deep introspection. Restorative practises, such as Yoga Nidra, are also incorporated to nourish well-being.
