Mandy Haynes Yoga, located in Chelmsford, offers a unique and personal approach to yoga instruction. With a passion for creating time and space for oneself, Mandy believes in the power of yoga to quiet the mind and bring awareness back to the present moment.
Having discovered yoga in her late teens during a challenging period of her life, Mandy found solace and a new way of thinking about her body through the practise. In 2015, she decided to embark on her yoga teacher training, realising that teaching yoga would allow her to share her love for the discipline with others.
Mandy's classes prioritise moving mindfully and exploring how each individual's body feels in each pose. She firmly believes in making each yoga pose fit the practitioner's body, rather than attempting to force the body into a particular pose. With a focus on breath work and guided meditations, Mandy's classes offer deep relaxation and the opportunity to delve deeper into one's practise.
In addition to yoga instruction, Mandy is also a qualified pregnancy yoga teacher. Drawing from her own experiences during pregnancy, she aims to provide expecting mothers with the benefits she herself experienced through yoga. Pregnancy yoga offers a lovely way to bond with one's unborn child, connect with other women, and prepare the body and mind for childbirth.
Mandy is also an Indian Head Massage practitioner, complementing her yoga teaching with the Ayurvedic nature of this form of massage. Her classes are offered in Chelmsford and the surrounding areas, as well as online. Whether in-person or virtual, Mandy's classes empower individuals to find peace, stillness, and a deeper connexion with themselves through the practise of yoga.
