The vessel features a full kitchen with gas BBQ facilities, allowing guests to prepare their catch on board. For those looking for a fun day out on the water, Mairirua Charters offers day trips that are ideal for family outings, social clubs, and work groups. The vessel is surveyed for up to 20 day fishers, and its full walk-around deck provides plenty of fishing space. While fishing gear and bait are available for hire, guests are also welcome to bring their own equipment.

If you're seeking a more immersive experience, Mairirua Charters also offers overnight adventure charters. The vessel is equipped with 2 double cabins and 4 single bunks, accommodating up to 8 guests. The comfortable heated lounge allows guests to relax and unwind after a long day of fishing. Pillows are provided, but guests are requested to bring their own sleeping bags.

The overnight adventure charters take guests on a thrilling journey to Stewart Island. These trips encompass area fishing, sightseeing, and anchoring up in one of the many picturesque bays to enjoy a social evening and savour the day's catch. The following day, guests have the opportunity to continue fishing on their way back home, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
